EX7000 - 1.0.1.78 FW is bad news, use 1.0.1.66 instead
Logging yet another case of the 1.0.1.78 firmware on EX7000s being bad news.
Brand new box, upgraded firmware and did initial setup in simple extender mode - ended up with frequent connection drops, Ethernet disconnecting and not reconnecting without a powercycle of the extender.
Downgraded to 1.0.1.66 (thanks @RealPi), factory reset, reinstall, and everything is fine.
Netgear, you really need to pull that 1.0.1.78 firmware. It simply doesn't work.

My main issue is the devices connected dont appropriately treat this as an extender....for example, my google nest drops from connection, in addition to that, when trying to 'see' other devices the nest cams and/or chromecasts do not seem to like this extender to be another connection point for getting to the common wifi network.
i will try the new firmware in hopes this helps.
