EX7000 AC1900 Firmware update causes drops every hour
Hello all,
just recently updated to the newest Firmware patch of
- V1.0.1.78_1.0.140
And as of this update I am now losing connection every 45mins or so, it's been happening all day & only for the extender. All other products in the house have been 100% fine the entire day. I tried reseting the modem and router, did a factory reset on my extender but to no avail. Even if it is black friday seeing if there's any hot fixes or if I'm just going out & buying a new model.

For now, just downgrade the firmware back to 1.0.0.66. https://kb.netgear.com/000059563/EX7000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-66

Thank you kindly sir for the timely response, hopefully this will do the trick for the moment until they figure out what's wrong with their current firmware.

Re: EX7000 AC1900 Firmware update causes drops every hour
I am having the identical symptoms after updating to the latest firmware with WIFi client disconnects becoming more frequent at 45m intervals; however, with this downgraded firmware I was having WiFi client disconnects also but once every 2-3 days. Still not good though at that. We need a solution.
