EX7000 - Are there two versions?
Shopping online, I’ve noted two different boxes for the EX7000/AC1950 WiFi Range Extender. One box has “Mesh” inserted in the product name and the other doesn’t. Do these two versions represent different hardware, different (upgradeable) firmware, or just different printing on the boxes?

Re: EX7000 - Are there two versions?
The mesh feature was launched fairly recently, so it is likely just packaging. If everything's the same price, maybe go with the package with the "mesh" branding, since it would be newer.
Netgear will sometimes make hardware changes (often needed due to part availability). But all EX7000s have the same features and run the same firmware.
