EX7000 Nighthawk App

I also have R8000 router and EX8000 extender and can manage both of those in Nighthawk app. Why is the EX7000 only accessible thru website and not in Nighthawk app? Because it's dual band? Very inconvenient. It's named similiar to the Nighthawk Mesh router but cannot be managed in the app with the other Nighthawk Mesh devices - misleading.
