Je reouvre ce sujet car j'avais acheté un EX8000 en urgence pour pallier au problème mais j'aurais à nouveau besoin du EX7000.
J'ai ce EX7000 depuis 2015 et la semaine dernière lors de la mise à jour du firmware, il n'est pas revenu à son état fonctionnel après le reboot. Il clignote comme un sapin de noël.
J'ai essayé le factory reset, le factory reset 30-30-30 et de ré-envoyer le firmware en TFTP mais ça n'a pas l'air de fonctionner. Il allume le switch environ 10 secondes avant de rebooter, à l'infini.
La séquence pour les LEDs:
* un clignotement de toutes les LEDs en vert allumé/éteint/allumé
* les LEDs du switch s'éteignent
* les LEDs wifi passent en orange
* le switch allume le port sur lequel est branché le câble
* le ping vers 192.168.1.1 ne marche pas, le transfert TFTP ne marche pas. Le switch reçoit bien du traffic comme en témoigne son "activité" mais rien ne semble se passer.
J'ai essayé la procédure sous Linux et sous Windows, dès fois que je m'y prenne comme un pied mais sans succès.
Pour répondre à la question qui m'avait été posé à l'époque, le répéteur était configuré en mode extension de réseau wifi via le réseau filaire (éncastré en cat 6a, même nom de réseau wifi). La routeur (livebox Orange) et le répéteur étaient branchés via un switch netgear GS108.
Pour essayer de débriquer le répéteur, je l'avais branché en direct sur ma machine sans autre connection.

Et maintenant j'ai l'air bête. Après avoir domir un an dans sa boîte, je viens de rebrancher la bête et elle remarche. J'ai même fait la mise à jour firmware, reconfiguré avec la nouvelle box, tout à l'air ok.

Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with WiFi Extender products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum.
