EX7000 unable to access some websites and mywifinet
I had been using this for years - but got rid of my ISP and needed to set it back up. Did a reset and setup to the new ISP source. Attached to the new network SSID and was able to access many websites. BUT couldn't access some websites (ex. usatoday.com while able to access yahoo.com, etc). IF I go directly to the original ISP router, I can access all those just fine. Tried it on multiple different computers - same behavior.
OK, then I tried to access "my wifi ext" (post wont let me put the actual name here) - no luck. Followed the KB and hooked up ethernet directly to my computer (macbook). Settings in macbook says that the ethernet is not connected (device not responding) - so unable to try to access in that way.. (tried multiple ethernet cables to be sure)....
At this point, I am fairly baffled - hard to imagine why the Extender blocks some websites - or why I can't access its controls at all (which makes it hard to figure anything out at all).
I tried resetting the device multiple times - behavior is always the same.
Help ??? Suggestions much appreciated.

Re: EX7000 unable to access some websites and mywifinet
Note, if I connect directly to the Wifi network of the extended, and attempt to access "my wifi ext .net" (per KB article), I get "You are not connected to your extender's WiFi network.". Although I am clearly on the wifi network on my mac.
Note router and extended have different SSID as I want to keep the usage separate (for various security reasons).
More on page when attempting to connect ->.....
If your router and extender use different WiFi network names (SSIDs), make sure that your device is connected to your extender's network.

Re: EX7000 unable to access some websites and mywifinet
did you set it up using wps? If so, factory reset and use the installation assistant. WPS is supposed to be industry standard but it sometimes gets coded poorly
also, the mywifi address working depends on the router you use. certain routers won't forward that to the extender so you need to use the extenders IP address. You can find that in the routers attached devices page (or equivelent)
