Weirdest thing, my wired smart TV gets disconnected all the time, but all the wireless connected devices are fine.
I connect a laptop wired to test and the same thing happens, so not the TV that is the problem.
It is driving me crazy, I can't watch stuff like Netfliz and stream my own media without interruption. I bought the extender cause the wireless on the TV sucks and wont allow streaming properly.
I tried everything from reservations, static IPs, re installing the extender, set channels on my router etc.
Any ideas?

Re: EX7000 wired devices disconnect
Sorry, not sure what to do with a PM that asks for my phone number.
After doing more tests I see that all connected devices get disconnected, both wifi and wired.
It started after the last firmware update! Can i revert back to earlier version?
This expensive extender is worthless to me at the moment...

Re: EX7000 wired devices disconnect
I had exactly the same same problem since the last last firmware update.
Had to restart the extender every few days.... no connection possible, wired or via wifi.
useless for now.

Downgrading firmware is the solution.

Re: EX7000 wired devices disconnect
Had exactly the same problems and also resolved them by reverting to the previous firmware version.
There have been a number of threads on this issue, most of which have been marked as solved and closed to further posts, but when you look at the 'solution', it is always reverting to previous firmware version. This is NOT a solution, merely a temporary workaround.
Isn't it about time Netgear acknowledge that there is clearly a problem and actually do something about providing a real solution?
But I guess marking all the threads as solved improves their stats..........
Bill.
