EX7500 no internet connection even though I’m connected

I set up The device and it has signal, even though I am already connected to a network Whenever I connect to my extender (Aarons RV)WiFi name nothing happens no Internet connection so my first thought is to update the firmware when I try to update the firmware it says no Internet connection there is no LAN connection on the device! So now I’m stuck! In my mind I would think it would need an update and I’d plug it into a computer and update it but there is no plugin maybe I’m missing something here!
