EX770

Hey

I have an EX7700 mesh which has two ethernet connections in the back, no yellow internet connection. Can I run an ethernet cable direct from my router into one socket, another out the next socket into my PC and still use the EX7700 as an extender? Or does it effectivly become a new WIFI router sending out signal, or neither?

I have done the above and my PC works but I cannot connect to the WIFI at all anymore though other devices.

Thanks in advance, any assistance appreciated, abuse also enjoyed.

Colin

If you hardwire in the extender to your router (a good choice), you do need to re-run setup and set it up for access point mode instead of extender mode.
