EX7700 Connection Problem (solved)
Connection Problems
I searched the internet as I had problems with the repeater losing WiFi. Here's what I did to solve the problem which I believe had to do with one of the 5G signals being set to a DFS channel.
1) When I set up the repeater (in my case as an access point), I changed the region to USA. This adds channels to one of the 5G WiFi signals which aren't DFS channels. When set to the UK and Europe, you only get DFS channels, which I believe is the problem.
2). Set the 5G WiFi signal to a channel that isn't DFS
Continue with the setting up of the repeater.
Since I've done this, I haven't had any drop outs.
Deactiving the 5G signal, when it was set to a DFS channel didn't solve the problem. Maybe the repeater still checks the channels for interference, even when deactivated.
I've posted this to help people who are in the same position as me.
I hope it helps.
