EX7700 - IP access to Pi from extender

Hi,

I've been trying to headlessly run a Raspberry Pi 4B via an ethernet cable to an EX7700.

The EX7700 extender is wirelessly extending a signal from a stock TalkTalk router using the same SSID credentials and seemingly has been working well.

To access the Pi I need to enter its IP address into a browser. When using a PC connected via ethernet to the router, this all works perfectly. However, when trying to access the same IP using a device connected to wifi this almost never works. It seems like there must be a conflict somewhere but I'm unable to troubleshoot the problem.

I've tried:

  •  removing the LAN cable and using the on board wifi on the Pi in case the ethernet connection over wifi was causing confusion
  • two different Pi operating systems to see if it was a software issue with both having the same issue
  • making the IPs static both in the Pi OS and on the TalkTalk router

Both the ethernet and wifi connection to the Pi are visible on the EX7700 web UI and on the TalkTalk web UI.

I feel like there must be a really straightforward setting I'm missing but I'm not sure where to look.

Thanks for any help!

      Hi Oliver,

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm happy for the troubleshooting to continue here just in case anyone finds this thread who needs help in the future.

I'd also rather not give out my details on what appears to be a public message board.

      Thanks
