[EX7700] No internet connectivity
I have a Bell Home Hub 3000 / Sagemcom FAST 5566 that I'm trying to extend with my EX7700.
The initial set up goes well enough. I connect to the range extender on 2.4 or 5GHz and it might work for 30 seconds or so, but then websites quickly stop loading, my apps that require internet connectivity stop working, and pings to www.google.com and 8.8.8.8 time out. If I reconnect to my router, every thing goes back to normal.
I've tried:
- Updating the firmware. I have the latest.
- Hard resets.
- Soft resets.
- Different channels.
- Turning on and off different radios.
- Changing SSIDs.
- Not broadcasting SSIDs.
- Disabling band spanning on both the both devices.
- Different browsers.
- Different computers,.
- Setting the extender up via the mobile app.
- Setting the extender up via the web UI.
- Setting up the extender on my phone's hotspot: it had similar same issues.
- Confirming the status LEDs are properly lit.
A few things I've noticed:
- Sometimes the extender status page doesn't show any clients connected even though I'm connected. It doesn't have this problem on the "Connected Devices" page.
- My computer seems to thinks I have internet access and the range extender's status page indicates everything is working as intended.
- My router has a 3rd radio for higher channel 5Ghz which always has the same SSID as the lower channel 5Ghz radio. I can't configure this 3rd radio at all.
- my wifiext.net never seems to work correctly. Most of the time it tells me I'm not connected to my extender's wifi even I am.
I have screen clippings from InSSIDer, pings, ipconfig, and the EX7700's UI pages if anyone thinks that might be helpful.
I just spent 7+ hours trying to get this to work. If you have any ideas, they are very welcome.

One other thing I noticed is that DNS seems to be working.
