I own the R8000 and the EX8000. The EX8000 has plagued me for over a year now but since it has got worse. I will get around 300Mb/s down which is typical for a little bit then after 20 to 30 mins I'll get 2-3 or it'll just go down entirely. Rebooting fixes the issue for 20 to 30 mins and a factory reset will fix it for roughly a week. I would just buy a different product but both the router and extender were so expensive and should theoretically work great.
