EX8000 Wifi Extender Blinking white lights on 10 month old product!!!!
10 month old product, started blinking all white lights acoss the front panel. Called netgear, want 60$ to offer assistance. I see alot of other people with this issue. Anyone able to fix???? Will be our last Netgear product. Not happy at all with the total lack of tech support on such an expensive item.

Re: EX8000 Wifi Extender Blinking white lights on 10 month old product!!!!
as the box says, support is only free for the first 90 days. thats disclosed on the box.
If its a hardware failure, then go through the rma process.
but many times the blinking lights can be fixed.
when did it start?
What where you doing with it when it started?
have you tried a factory reset? Pushing and holding reset for up to 30 seconds while its powerd on?
Are you able to ping the extender?

Re: EX8000 Wifi Extender Blinking white lights on 10 month old product!!!!
I was in the middle of typing a report when the lights just started blinking and lost connection. Factory reset 8 times. Called tech support and was told firmware issue and Netgear can fix but first I have to give Netgear credit card and purchase a 60$ service agreement.

Re: EX8000 Wifi Extender Blinking white lights on 10 month old product!!!!
you could try recovering it using tftp.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide

just make sure you enable tftp

and here's a video walk through.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash
