I'm running the EX8000 X6S extender in hotspot mode but when I click on connected devices the list rarely loads just says "Please wait a moment.." with popups "Your session will time out in one minute. Would you like to extend your session for another five minutes?" every 5 min to keep the session alive. I first set the device up as mesh and it was showing the list after about 30 seconds but in hotspot I guess it's trying to query every thing on the LAN which is silly. Is netgear working on an update to the firmware? Running the latest as of this posting at 1.0.1.192. Also the nighthawk app shows zero devices connected so it's timing out there too.

You're running the most current version of the firmware (thanks for putting that). Did you reset the device after the firmware update? I've found this to solve many problems and usually recommend people reset after any updates.
Are you accessing the extender via the browser? Which browser? I'd recommend trying a different one.
App version you're using on your phone (android/ios?)
