That is wireless access point (AP) mode.
There is a manual for the EX8000 somewhere at the end of this link:

Is the outbuilding on the same mains circuit as the house, and without too many junction boxes?
If so, you could consider Powerline Ethernet.
There are bundles with a wifi access point as the remote plug. Or you can use the link to feed an remote AP or extender.
- No the garage is on its on power service.But I do have an extra cat 5e and 1 cat 6 running up there.Just trying to find the best option.
