Ethernet-attached printer gets static IP but can't be pinged??
I have a network printer, plugged in via Ethernet cable to port #3 on the Extender. The printer is listed on the Attached Devices tab when I admin the Extender, and its virtual MAC address has been added to my Allow list on the router. I can also see this printer (at its static IP, 10.0.1.109) via LanScan from a computer on my main network (wired to the router). So, I know the printer got to the Extender and out to the main router. But when I ping this address it says Request timeout, and none of my printer configuration utilities can seem to reach it. What do I do - why is the printer unreachable even though it appears to have gotten its static IP address and the main router knows about it?

What is the default gateway of your printer? Is it the same as your router's IP address?
