Ex6100 No Router Connection

Using my Netgear Ex6100 in extender mode. Worked fine for the first months now it constantly looses connection with my router. The Router Link LED light will go from Green to off constantly. It won't stay connected for more than 2-4 minutes and will stay off for around 3 minutes before reconnecting.
I have redone the setup process to link it to the router numerous times now. Always looks like it works since all the LED lights turn green but even before I unplug the extender to move it, it will show Router Link connection lost. I have also done the factory reset and still nothing.

Welcome to the community!

 

1. What is the firmware version of the extender?

2. Have you tried changing the wireless channel of your router?

3. Does the issue persist after relocating the extender?

4. Can your other devices stay connected to main network without issues?

5. Are you connecting the extender to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands of your router?

From reading https://community.netgear.com/t5/WiFi-Range-Extenders-Nighthawk/Ex6100-No-Router-Connection/m-p/1657... one might conclude thee are some known issues, and Netgear does have something at hand @DexterJB please.
