Ex6200 WiFi Range Extender does not do what it promised
Hi moderators,
Need your help. I just bought EX6200 off from amazon and was expecting quite alot based on its review there. The installation is very very simple (thou it does not let me skip 5Gz when i use my phone to do the setup).
I am disappointed that I just placed the WiFi Range Extender 5 Big Steps away(4-5metres) and the connection becomes amber ... Really ???? I was hoping to put halfway to my room but it cant even remain green at 5 steps away.... Is there issues or rules on how to position the router in a correct way?
When i go to my room to do testing , and use testspeed. I i continous do test speed, on the 4th or 5th time , i will get network communication problem....again... really???? My wife was also using ibanking and they stated network communication error and she had to rely on mobile to continue.
Is there any way you can send a support to come and take a look and give better advice that could make the experience better ? This will be a joke if this new product cant even live to its expectation.

Re: Ex6200 WiFi Range Extender does not do what it promised
Can you tell us what model of base router you have? At the positon that the EX6200 indication changes, if you use a PC or smartphone there using a WiFi analysing tool (e.g. inSSIDer) what kind of signal strength do you see?
If you change the orientation of the base router e.g. simply rotate it or move the antennae (assuming it has external antennae) does the EX6200 indication change?
