Re: Extend range of Nighthawk m1 modem and improve signal

Concrete walls make it a challenge. A mesh system can work but because the walls block the communication between router/satellites, it can still be problematic.

A lot of people resort to a special tool. (a drill).

the best way to fix concrete walls is to run ethenet between the rooms and hardwire in the access points.

If you can't do that, some use powerline or moca adapters.

Current setup: CM2000-> RBKE963B-> Trendnet TEG-S380-> GS716T-> pi-hole

Thanks for the reply- concrete walls aside - would this m1 work with a mesh system?

Thanks

The M1 has an ethernet port. you can connect a router to it and either put the M1 in passthrough mode or put the router in access point mode.
