Setting the Security Mode to WPA PSK seems to do the trick. Now I have an extended wifi and with some security.

Re: Extended net don't accept router's wireless key
Hi @Svelen,
Please cross check the password which you are trying during setup. Also, make sure access control/MAC filtering is turned OFF on your main router. If both are done, try changing the channel on router which should resolve the issue.

Re: Extended net don't accept router's wireless key
Thanks for your input.
BUT the solution(?!?!) seems to be to switch off any security option, neither WEP or WPA is accepted.
There must be an alternative to no security at all! // Sven

Re: Extended net don't accept router's wireless key
Hi @Svelen,
Extender support WEP/WPA as well as WPA2 securities. Also, if access control/MAC filtering is enabled on router, you need to add virtual MAC address of extender to the access control/MAC filtering list and then try setting up the extender which should work.
