Extender for a CG3000v2
I want to be able to extend the CG3000v2 to the back room, i have a lan cable terminating there, what device should i use, i have tried to configure a number of wireless routers but they seem to conflict, is there one that will work out of the box, can work with basic config.

Re: Extender for a CG3000v2
Any wireless router will work. Some have an option to put it into Access Point mode for easy setup. All others require only a few steps to accomplish the same thing. Disable the DHCP server, set a static IP address and plug it in using a LAN port (leave the Internet/WAN port disconnected).
Alternatively, use a range extender that supports Access Point mode. Any of Netgear's range extenders will work, except for 3 (EX6120, EX2700 and WN3000RP).
