Extender no longer visible

My extender is no longer visible on my network tried everything I can think of reset a number of times. All the boxes to broadcast it over the network are ticked but just cant find it on any device.??

Did you set it up as a mesh network? 

If so, it uses the same ssid as the primary router. 

You can log into it and check the ssid settings

I believe so and yes it did show with the same detail as the main router but with Ext on the end so you could tell it apart. Now I just cant see it on any device.??

Maybe the ssid was changed?

If you hardwire into the ex8000, can you access it via the browser? 

What does it show on its status page?
