Extender not connecting to WiFi
I have the range extender EX6100. My network via the extender shows up in the WiFi settings but no internet so I ha e to connect to the router directly I downloaded the Nightjawk app Nd it keeps looking from the NETGEAR_EXT. All that shows is the router with the number with the _2GEXT or _5GEXT. The app can’t connect to either. What’s the next step. The extender is on, the light is green. What do I do now? Thanks.

Re: Extender not connecting to WiFi
what router do you have?
What firmware is on the extender?
V1 or V2?
I'd factory reset the extender and reinstall it using the installation assistant.
Easiest route is to hardwire into the extender with a pc/laptop (disable the pc/laptops wifi to prevent it defaulting back to wifi) and to install using the installation assistant. there's a video on the support site walking through using the installation assistant. When wps doesn't work properly, the assistant usually does.
