Extending WiFi from source with no ethernet ports.
I live in a rural area and internet access options are limited.
Best choice for me now is the Verizon Jetpack MiFi 8800L for connection to the 4G LTE network. The Jetpack has no ethernet ports and I have security related devices that need to be wired to the internet. I have placed my AC1900 WiFi Range Extender literally next to the Jetpack and plugged the wired devices into the extender. The connection between the Jetpack and AC1900 is strong and works for the security devices.
The security devices, Jetpack and AC1900 extender are all in one corner of my basement in a secured room. I want to keep these items where they are.
If I run an ethernet cable from the AC1900 extender in the basement to another location, centrally located in the house, can it be plugged into another AC1900 WiFi extender to get better whole house WiFi?
Any other considerations? Other equipment options?
Remember, my internet access device (Jetpack MiFi 8800L) is strictly wireless, no ethernet ports, so I can't plug directly to the source.
