I do have a Netgear system to cover my flat, but now I need an extension to use it outdoor.
Any suggestion ? Is the ORBI satellite works ? I plan to attach the the EX8000 Extension.

Re: Extension for Outdoor of my Netgear R8000 Nightahwk X6 needed
netgear only has 2 devices rated for outdoor usage.
The RBS50Y that has an extender mode or an orbi mode.
The WBC502 which has an access point mode (needs to be hardwired in).
Some have used regular routers/extenders and just contained them in a weatherproof box.

Thanks !
Can I connect the EX8000 to the WBC502 with a cable ?
So the question basically is :
Can I exit with a cable from the EX8000 and plug into the WBC502 ?
thanks
Ciao

Re: Extension for Outdoor of my Netgear R8000 Nightahwk X6 needed
should be able to.
Only thing with the WBC502 is it uses POE to power it. You'd need to go
EX8000-----lan cable-----power injector-----WBC502.
