Force connection to Mesh Extender

I have a AC2200 Nighthawk X4 WiFi Mesh
Extender
Model EX7300. The new PC keeps on connecting to the router: is there a way to force the PC to connect to the extender?

sure there is. 

Disable the one wifi (mesh) option and set it with a different ssid. 

otherwise its on your device's (computer/phone/etc) own roaming protocol that determine which it connects to
