Have WNDR4500 -- need recommendation to add Extender
Currently I have a WNDR4500 and wish to add a full speed extender to replace an old "G" 'print server' extender.
What is the best solution? Another WNDR4500 or a purpose build extender?
a) take full advantage of the WNDR4500 bandwidth on both channels?
b) Least cost for a full featured device that does the above and PERHAPS the following:
c) Optional: Ideally I would like more than 4 Ethernet ports on the extender but that is not critical since I can purchase (another) hub.
It is my belief that a WNDR4500 would do this, but that there might be a cheaper solution.
Please offer your advice.

Re: Have WNDR4500 -- need recommendation to add Extender
If you want to take a full bandwidth same with WNDR4500 then I suggest you purchased a exactly the same router and set it as an AP.

Re: Have WNDR4500 -- need recommendation to add Extender
Thanks. I needed that confirmation that it would work as an access point for this purpose and that there was (likely) no better choice.
Do these actually USE both channels to improve speed or just one at a time?
(Looks like I am going to buy a Powerline 600 if I can't figure this stuff out pretty quick.)

If you're referring to 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz then the answer is YES.
