Again, mesh extenders work great but they work they best if you're only needing 1. when you need more than that, a move to a full mesh system is better.
Can you or should you?
You can daisy chain extenders. But it can create issues when using it setup in mesh mode. The reason why is they're connecting back to the router and using the same ssid as the router. And if they can end up connected to the wrong device. This happens because there isn't a controlling device.
Meaning if you're going:
Router----->extender1----->extender2
Sometimes extender2 can end up trying to connect directly to the router.
or extender2 connecting to the router and extender1 connecting to extender2.
or even extender 1 and 2 connecting to each other.
This doesn't happen all the time but its something to keep in mind that if you're daisy chaining them and having issues when running in mesh mode, sometimes you need to disable mesh and setup unique ssid's for each extender. This prevents the wrong connection.
I usually warn people that if they're going to need more than 1 extender an upgrade to a full mesh system like orbi is a better choice as it has a main router that controls the system.
