How to use AC1200 WiFi Range extender modell EX6150 v2 in Access Point Mode
Hi,
I try to improve my Wifi network at home using between the router and the extender an ethernet cable (through some thick walls) and using after the extender connected to an existing WiFi network. This kind of network connection is called in the Netgear manual the Access Point Mode (a new WiFi hotspot).
After I had connected the Ethernet cable to extender, it does not find the WiFi network any more.
I were very grateful to some expert, who could help me and give some piece advice, how should I change the extender settings or locate and connect it to the Wifi extender settings in this Access Point Mode.

Try this.
1. make sure the switch on the side is in access point mode.
2. Factory reset the extender. Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on.
3. try reinstalling it/setting it up.
