How to use EX7000 as a switch?
After reconfiguring my local network I have an unused EX7000. Can I use it as an ethernet switch (only wired, no wifi) ? Are there any specific ports for in and out?

There isn't any in/out ports. So use whichever you need.

but it might be worth leaving them enabled as a backup for other devices. Just make sure they're on a different channel as the primary router to prevent interference.

Thanks. What about the wired connection speed in switch configuration? Does it go over 100Mbps? There are no specs for this configuration. My gateway/network is capable of 400Mbps.

Re: How to use EX7000 as a switch?
The EX7000 has gigabit ports. If they're only connecting at 100mbps speeds, check your cables.
Move the ex7000 right next to the router and connect it with 2 known good 6ft cables (one from router--extender and other from extender---device) and test the speeds.
