I changed my wifi password, how do I reconfigure my EX3700 range extender? (No, the extender's ip address 192.168.1.250 doesnt work in any browser. No, the mywifiext.net address doesnt recognize an extender. No, connecting my extender via ethernet cable to a laptop nor to the router doesn't work. No. the webpage that automatically pops up with a button that says "New Extender Setup" doesn't recognize my existing login)

When I called Netgear they said it would take about 15 minutes to clear all previous data out and reconfigure the device and would not necessitate utilizing a cable. However, I would have to pay for that information first.

In case this forum method fails, my next step after this is to buy a new extender just to get the free 90 day customer support.

Hello Hooker

Have you held the reset button down on the extender for 10 seconds this will do a factory reset and let you set up the extender again.
