I don't understand instruction for setting up WN1000RP WiFi Booster
I confess to being a complete novice in setting up such a device as this.
The instructions state for Option 1 Connect with WPS (WiFi Protected Setup) step 4
"Now connecet your existing WiFio devices to the new WiFi Booster network.(MyNetworkName_EXT). Use the same networrk security key (passphrase) as is set on your existing WiFi network?WiFi router"
Does this mean I must change the address in all WiFi devices I am currently using or can I just change the address in a device (or devices) I wish to connect to the WN1000RP booster?
Am I correct in stating the address for my modem/router is in no way changed by following the installation instructions for this Booster?

Seems to be a little bit of a rash of folks posting in the wrong forums. This is for the Arlo security cameras.
The answer to the question is that you're correct in figuring that nothing is changed on your router. You are simply connecting your phones and/or computers to use the new, different network.

Hello FEMD
The extender does not change any settings on your current router all its saying is when you connect to the extender you use the same password as your would to connect to the extender.
