Importing configuration to a WNR2000v3 from a WNR2000
Hello,
I buy a new WNR2000v3 to replace a WNR2000 that dont work.
I have the file .cfg of the old WNR2000 and I try to import settings in the new WNR2000v3 but the process failed and tell me thet firmware are not correct.
The old WNR2000 had version firmware V1.2.3.7.
Is possible to import the old cfg in the new WNR2000v3?
Thank you.
Bye

Gerenaly Speaking the short answer to your question is: NO, saved configuration from a model specific router is not transferable to another router, there are many reason as to why this is, but simply the main reason is that v1 and V3 WNR2000 are not the same chipset/configurations inside.
you will have to reconfigure the new router using teh CD/manually accessing it through http://192.168.1.1/
