Ipad Gen 7 vs Extender

Been using the extender for a few years without any problems. then today it wont let my iPad 7 gen hook up...iPhone and older iPad connect no problem. new ipad sees and connects to other wifi networks no problem. updated firmware but still no luck...ideas?

have you tried changing the wifi channel? 

You change it on the router and reboot the extender. maybe there's interference on that channel. 

What firmware are you on for the extender? (a number)

What router are you using? (model)

What are all the leds on the extender doing? (color/blinking/solid)
