Limited or Not Connectivity WN3000RP

Hi Guys,

I just connected the WN3000RP extender to my WNDR4000 router and everything seems fine with strong signal all green.

However when I tried to access the extender I get "Limited or not connectivity" and I can't access the internet.

Both the router and repeater are using as security WPA2-PSK [AES] and same phrase.

Latest firmware as well.

What could be wrong here? About to return this extender. 😞

Re: Limited or Not Connectivity WN3000RP

Hallo,

I seem to experience a similar problem. I have run the wizard (and more than once, to be sure) the extender mac address appears to be connected to my d.link DI-624 router, the four leds are all happily green, but I cant get through to the internet. I have tried to configure openDNS on the pc side (I am using linux) but I had no luck.
What I have noticed, but am unsure if it matters, is that the di-624 does not have an IP address in the attached devices list in the www.mywiext.net control panel.

Thanks
Alberto

Why using drink behind the extender?

Re: Limited or Not Connectivity WN3000RP

The d-link is the router whose signal I wish to extend.

I have an adsl modem with no wifi capabilities wired to the router. The d-link router is a dhcp server. The modem gets 192.168.1.1 whilst the wireless devices get 192.168.0.1xx. The router itself is 192.168.0.1 (from a pc)

When I connect to MYSSID_EXT, the pc gets 192.168.1.100

I hope this helps you

Thank you very much for replying so quickly 🙂

Re: Limited or Not Connectivity WN3000RP

Well, as it turned out it was a matter of correctly matching the encryptions between the router and the extender.
