Wondering if it is possible to link these 2 switches.
I have the 8 port on the 2nd level of my house, and i would like to place the 4 port switch on the lower level so i can be hardwired to additional devices.
Is this possible with these 2 switches?

Both switches are unmanaged switches so you should be able to plug into any port.

Re: Linking GS308 to a GS305
Excellent!
I have them both here, i plugged the Cat 7 cable into the 4 port, and one of my devices couldnt recognize an IP address.
Wondering if i need to use a specific port to link them, or if i can connect my Ethernet into any port on my 4 port switch and it should work.
