Logging in to WN2000RPTv2
Hello..I was trying to logon to the above range extender using url www.mywifext.net (my SSIDs for the home network and the extender are different) and can't remember the password I used when I did the original set up. I'll add that set up was probably done more than 7 years ago. Am I making an incorrect assumption that I can logon to it to check the settings?

Re: Logging in to WN2000RPTv2
To login you'd need the login info. Not sure if that device had a forgot password option being that old.
If you get the password wrong enough (usually 4x) it'll take you to password recovery if it has the option and if you set it up.
If you didn't set it up or it doesn't have it, you'd need to factory reset the extender. This would get you back to the default login info and you'd just need to reinstall it.
To factory reset, while its powered on, push and hold reset. It should take 7-15 seconds but can take up to 30. The lights should blink/change when you've held it long enough.

Re: Logging in to WN2000RPTv2
I found my answer..it helps to read the manual!
I was using the wrong ID and once I realized that I was able to logon to the extender without any problems. Thanks for the help!
