Losing Speeds in other areas of the house when Nighthawk X6S AC3000 Tri-Band WiFi Mesh Extender on
Hi,
We have really bad WiFi in the upstairs bedroom furthest from the Virgin Hub 3.0. So I bought the above range extender thinking it would solve the problem. However, whilst it has partially solved the problem of no WiFi in the furthest bedroom it has now created anoth issue. The kitchen used to have good to fast WiFi speeds but with the extender switched on the WiFi in the kitchen is zero or very slow to be almost unusable. Turn the extender off upstairs and the WiFi goes straight back to normal speeds, turn it on and unusable. Speeds in the main room where the Hub 3.0 lives are fine and seem unaffected and generally around the house I've not noticed any other negatives just the kitchen. The PC and Playstation in the kitchen are about 5m in a straight line from the Hub 3.0 and it is only passing through a stud wall. WiFi signal has always been strong in the kitchen but with the extender it is truly awful. Any suggestions?
