MK63 / MR60 / MS60 as a mesh AP

MK63 / MR60 / MS60 as a mesh AP

I currently use a nighthawk router as an access point off my Untangle router setup.
I would like to do the same thing with the MK63, but have a mesh AP network without the router / NAT.
Is the MK63 system cable of being just a 3x mesh AP system, or is the MR60 router required to be in router mode?
