MK63 for VLAN tagged connecting
Hi! I'm considering to buy a NIGHTHAWK MESH WIFI 6-SYSTEEM MK63 with in total 3 points.
I currently have a Nest Wifi system, but I have to return it since it is unable to work with my VLAN tagged connection and will not play nice with my Netgear managed switch that I use for untagging the packets.
Before I buy I would like to be sure that the NIGHTHAWK MESH WIFI 6-SYSTEEM MK63 is going to play nice with my setup. I am no networking expert so please bear with me.
I have a 1Gbps fiber coming in (VLAN tagged, for internet, phone and TV). I only use internet, no TV nor phone. I am looking for a system that won't crash because of VLAN tagged packets (like the Nest), but I don't need manage it either.
What I want is: Fiber > Media converter > Nighthawk Router > Switch > 2 Nighthawk mesh points wired to the switch.
Will this work? Any red flags?
