Mesh EX7300 set up but doesn't extend signal
We have the EX7300 connected, lights are green, but the signal doesn't seem any different than without the Mesh extender. The router is in the corner of a room, about 6' from the glass doors (on same wall). I want the signal to go through the glass doors about 20' to another set of glass doors where I have the separate office room. The plug is about 6" to the right of the second set of doors.
Should the extender be placed opposite the first glass doors or closer to the computer in the office?
What other options are there to get the signal transferred from the router to the office computer? Thanks

How is the EX7300 extender connected to the router? Wired or wifi?

Is that the router that feeds the extender? What is that router?

The best place to put an extender is half way between the router and the place where you want to spread the wifi. There isn't much point in putting an extended next to the router.
You can set up the extender near go the router and then move it to the new location.

Re: Mesh EX7300 set up but doesn't extend signal
We did as you suggested, then moved it farther away from the router. It is about 4' from the computer and 20-25' from the router.

Is the wifi signal any better?
