My WN3000 extender has stopped working and keeps asking for password

I have done a factory reset and cleared all the browser history in my explorers. It has worked fine for 3 months and now it will not connect to my Samsung android tablet.

All the lights are on and the netgear is showing on my orange router!!!

Hello lindaturner

If your device can not connect to it you may need to go into your tablets wifi settings and tell it to forget the old network and then try to connect to it again. Or you will want to try your main routers password when connecting to the extender.

Re: My WN3000 extender has stopped working and keeps asking for password

I have the same problem with my WN2000RP router. It asks for authentication password. My username and password does not work. I used the default login username and password to logon. As soon as i get to step 4 of the setup my wireless device automatically disconnects the router. I'm unable to completr the setup. I need help please.

Hello JacquesF28

Are you able to connect to the extender using Ethernet? and then try to complete the setup.
