N300 WiFi Range Extender Model EX2700 - Router Light does not come on

I have had this unit for several years, and has worked without issues. Today, my Blu-Ray player could not connect to the internet. Traced the issue to the EX2700: the Blu-Ray connects to the EX2700, but not through the router to the internet. 

On the E2700, the Device light is on, but Router light is not on, so I cannot get through my home network to the internet. I have connected to the EX2700 via mywifiext.net. I have done a factory reset, configured and re-connected, but still no Router light. Has this unit failed? If not, what else can I try?

It may have failed as you said. You can check if it's still under warranty here.
