I currently have 3 WiFi extenders. My router has shutdown. When I receive my new router will I have to reset the extenders or can I change the router in their system without resetting?

Permitting you configure the router with the same SSID (wireless network names) and wireless security key, the repeaters should be able to re-join, a reboot might be required.
