I am trying to connect to the extender using the set up genie. All is going well up unitl I have to enter my network password. I am assuming this is the password that I have set up to keep my wifi secure, my sign in password. However when I enter it it says something about hexidecimal characters???? It will not accpet it or the passphrase on the bas eof the router. HELP
Factory reset the extender by pressing on the small black button using a pin for 15+ seconds and join the NETGEAR_EXT wifi network. After you connect to it, browse to www.mywifiext.net and follow the setup instructions.
