NETGEAR AC1900 (24x8) WiFi Cable Modem Router C7000, DOCSIS 3.0
Please recomment a modestly priced wifi booster for the Modem combo noted above. Also, why won't an "AirTies_SmartMesh_4KD8, Model number: Air 4920 not connect with the NETGEAR Modem Router above? the Air Ties is supported by AT&T/Uverse.
Should I assume this booster will never work with the NETGEAR, if not. Please recommend a booster that will connect? Thanks, Bill
PS Using the NETGEAR with COX.

the Airties from AT&T is designed to work with 2 routers from att, the BGW210-70 and the 5268AC. It might be possible to get it working with other routers but its not designed to. You'd need to contact att to see how to get it to work with other routers.
I'm a fan of netgear's line of tri-band extenders. Reason why is standard extenders lose half the speed right off the bat. Reason they do that is because they have to receive a signal and then retransmit. And they can't do both at once.
The tri-bands dont' have that issue as they reserve one of the 2x 5ghz bands just for router----extender communication.
Meaning they have better speed, less interference, and better latency.
