Hi all, I really appreciate the help!
I have a NETGEAR D7800 Router, and EX8000 Extender - Will they Mesh one with the other?
It's important for me to understand it since I want to decide if to create another separate SSID for the extender.
Thank you!

Yes they do.
the EX8000 uses its dedicated 3rd band to connect back to the router.
It should work pretty well.
I usually recommend to people during setup to uncheck the "extend 2.4ghz band" when you're going through setup. You can still use the 2.4ghz but it won't use it as failover for if the 5ghz backhaul is having issues.
