NETGEAR Extender

Hello! I have all green lights on my NETGEAR mesh extender. It plugs into the wall. All green lights. Went through the setup process in the app and everything seems to be working. Except it isn’t discoverable to connect to. Not on my phone. Not on my Vizio tv. I’m not sure what else to do. Any ideas?

The key here is "mesh" extender. 

A mesh extender when setup with wps or with its default settings, won't show up as a separate network. 

Its whole design is to use the same ssid/password as the router so devices can roam between the 2 seamless without the user having to do anything. 

If you're not wanting that, you can disable one wifi (the mesh feature).
