NETGEAR Nighthawk X6S extender will not connect with my network

I cannot connect my extender to my network. Does anyone have any suggestions..HELP:(

    What router are you connecting to?

    What actual extender model is it? (look at the label)

    Are you setting it up via wps or using the installation assistant? 

    Firmware on the extender?
